From my wife who helped me backstage to my amazing Barista buddy Fiorella, not to mention the team NZ, there was always someone taking care of me, and I don’t take it for granted.
As for the competition, some positive feedbacks from the international judges gave me confidence I could not otherwise have, and after all, made me realise the most important thing once again…Be yourself!!!
Overall, the experience has made me more humble than ever before, knowing back here in NZ, I am still representing all the amazing people I met in Bogota who are involved in the specialty coffee industry in many different ways.
