Noah Namowicz works for Café Imports, an independent US based specialty green coffee importer. Noah handles international roaster clients and is the director of marketing for the company. He is a Barista Guild of America Executive Council Member, a Level One Certified Barista, and IDP certified. Noah lives in Saint Paul Minnesota with his wife Megan and daughter Bryn.
Noah will be teaching a class he and Cafe Imports wrote on Microlots. The class explains the journey specific microlots take and some of the socio/environmental factors that influence the selection of a coffee into a microlot.
The class explains the evolution of microlots from full containers in the past several years. There will be time at the end of the class for questions so that the class can evolve into what the group is interested in speaking about.
Noah has just got back from Brasil and Colombia and is happy to elaborate on those countries particularly in the context of microlot.
Noah will also bring some coffees of his favorite US roasters that buy microlots from Cafe Imports in order to cup!
