Join the NZ Barista Guild for a fun and sociable Latte Art Throwdown at Wellington’s Customs Brew Bar
The format is simple, if you’re competing:
Two baristas at a time, head to head
A dedicated person at the espresso machine will pull all the espresso bases
Competitors steam their own milk and pour one piccolo and one flat white (both single shot)
Three judges vote by the point of a hand
The winner proceeds to the next round
If you’re there to hangout you’re very welcome as well! It’s a fun event for everyone.

Hosts: NZBG committee members Hadassah and Nick
The current local ‘Champ’ or milk wizard is Richard Legg and he’ll be present to defend his title or to pass it on. See you there!
