A LEADING AWARDS PROGRAM FOR THE GLOBAL COFFEE ROASTING INDUSTRY
The prestigious Australian International Coffee Awards is the Asia Pacific’s leading coffee roasting competition, providing coffee roasters in the region with a compelling opportunity to benchmark and promote their product. Entries are open to industry from now until 6 February.
You can enter your roasted coffees into competition classes for:
Espresso – Single origin and blends
Milk Based – Blends
Soya based – Blends
Filter Coffee – Plunger, pour over and syphon
One of the most respected names in the industry, Aida Batlle from El Salvador, will join an esteemed judging panel in 2015. A fifth-generation coffee farmer, Aida Batlle is current director of the Specialty Coffee Association of America. Her expertise has been recognised by both Time Magazine and The New Yorker and her coffee beans are loved by connoisseurs across the world.
Leading Australian industry figure Peter Wolff will oversee the judging process as official Head Judge. Peter’s global industry experience spans 30 years as a coffee roaster, creator, trainer and business developer.
The awards program upholds a rigorous blind judging process, ensuring fair and consistent marking across categories. Entries will be judged by the elite panel of industry specialists, selected for their outstanding knowledge and unrivalled expertise.
