Roasters! The stage is yours for 90 minutes – seize the chance to showcase your specialty coffee expertise to the coffee-loving public.
The New Zealand Barista Guild and La Marzocco are proud to bring you the Artisan Coffee Bar at Caffeination 2015. We’re offering Association members an opportunity to show off their most delectable roast, their juiciest creative ideas and their finest barista skills – and to build their public reputation as specialty coffee vanguards. You’ll have 90 minutes to impress the crowds, offering samples of your finest creation.
To take advantage of this opportunity, simply:
– choose your most awe-inspiring roast
– create an artisan espresso based drink to get taste buds fizzing and people talking
– get your best and most engaging barista on the stand with any necessary material(s) and ingredients, to deliver your creation
– provide samples of your creation over your 90 minute slot – impress the Caffeination crowds.
What you offer is up to you – but we encourage you to think beyond a fine flat white and get creative. There’ll be posters at the Bar all weekend listing everyone who’s taking to the stand and what each is offering, so make your creation sounds unmissable to ensure everyone who passes the stand over the weekend takes note.
All drinks will be made for the public for a gold coin donation. All proceeds will go to Justin McArthur’s cause c/Give a Little, a very worthy charity.
