Sponsorship/Partnership opportunities and outlines.

The NZSCA has many opportunities for you to get involved and sponsorship in our events is just one of the ways as a company you can get involved and give back to our coffee community.

Please see an attached summary of how we seek sponsorship:

  1. A website post then an e-newsletter and a social media call is the first announcement asking for sponsorship interest.
  2. We will share sponsorship outlines and deadline dates with interested parties. Our championship events generally run in three-year terms/contracts, we also have some single-year terms. Where there is interest in one sponsorship category from several parties, a tender process may occur.
  3. In the case of tenders, presentations are submitted within the time frame, they are then sent to individuals from the Board and NZSCA Event Committee, initially via digital proposal followed by an online Q&A in some instances. Questions are encouraged from both parties.
  4. Board members and Event Committee members will have the opportunity to evaluate and individually select those that they deem best suited for the event.
  5. To ensure fairness and transparency, these sponsorship decisions are made by a vote based on the content of the proposal, and its impact on the event and the coffee community within and around the event.
  6. All sponsorship agreements whether in tender format or otherwise are evaluated on elements including overall package offering, not just monetary contributions.
  7. Please note that Board and Events Committee members who submit sponsorship tenders/contracts on behalf of their own companies are excluded from all aspects of the sponsorship decision process to avoid any conflicts of interest that may arise.
  8. For some occasions including championship events, smaller community events, and the AGM and Recognition Awards, we have single-year/single-event contracts. Some of these instances are on a first-in basis, however, these are moderated and checked with the Board and Events committee prior to confirmation.

We are proud of our progressive sponsorship levels:

PRINCIPAL SPONSOR

There is only one. The leading Sponsor of the event is afforded the most visible branding and presence throughout all media and the event. This includes financial support towards the running costs of the event alongside products and/or equipment for use within the event. This modern elevation of sponsorship aims to feature campaign messages such as “NZ X Championship proudly sponsored and brought to you by {your company/brand} in conjunction with other company sponsors.”

SPONSOR

Branding on collateral and financial support of the running costs of the event alongside products and/or equipment for use within the event.

EVENT PARTNER

Financial support for the event. Present on the day of the event, no branding or logo is used in the event collateral. Includes the opportunity to connect and talk at the event.

NZSCA Events and Championships events can provide an outstanding business opportunity to potential partners by:

  • Providing a unique environment in which to promote products and increase brand awareness and company awareness
  • Exposure to a targeted audience through separate events, and the associated public relations and marketing campaigns
  • Association, branding, and recognition as a key partner to the only national industry-run coffee competitions (Championship Events)
  • Attempting where possible to limit the number of sponsors so that maximum exposure is afforded to them
  • Curating a sponsorship group that is complimentary to each other avoiding any crossover of the core product range

We are incredibly grateful for all sponsorship offerings. Our sincere thanks to everyone involved in this journey to evolve and improve our industry.

We are open to other sponsorship categories than the listed provided they are complimentary to each other and avoid any crossover of the core product range. Get in touch via email below.
