Events planning for 2026

To see the year out, we are going to have a little jolly Christmas get-together in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch. Keep your eyes on our social media for details!

We also have a full calendar lined up for 2026, and we want you to mark a few key moments now. Once we have all the i dotted and t’s crossed, we will share the full calendar of dates and locations.

Save the date for our AGM in Ōtautahi on 22 May. The Garden City is a beautiful place to host the AGM, and we have a fun lineup planned, so make sure you stay for the weekend too!
Competitions: This year, we will run four competitions over two huge weekends in Tāmaki Makaurau! Barista and Latte Art will run together, and Cup Tasters and Brewers Cup will run together. This is the first time Brewers is making a return, so spread the news and make sure you and your friends are ready to enter when we release the dates! (Early next year)
Regionals will also return in a slightly new format (think more accessible and fun!), so keep an eye out for dates and locations.
We are also bringing back a past favourite. The Symposium will return later in the year. More details to come…

We have heard your feedback, and we are eager to unveil this next chapter alongside you. This year promises to be monumental, but we cannot achieve our goals without the support of our community. It truly takes an army to organize, compete, and volunteer at these events, and we need you to join us, so if you’ve ever been on the fence about competing, this is your year!
