Kokako’s Mike Murphy has pulled together a range of innovative suppliers to showcase sustainability and some of the delicious food brands Auckland has to offer.
“HP New Zealand wanted a modern sustainable café offer which would work well alongside their range of consumer products. We’re pretty excited to have some great new systems in use at the café which showcase sustainability, including a bank of hungry bin worm farms which take the Potatopak plates and any food scraps, as well as a comprehensive recycling centre.”
“We wanted it to be fun and engaging with some nice little touches, so we’ve even got a few air-freighted copies of the Monocle Mediterraneo newspaper. Customers can sit in a natural timber setting surrounded by native plants and check their emails for free, print documents wirelessly or even print photos using the HP technology,” he says.
The café runs for 6 weeks until 23rd October and is open from 8am weekdays and 9am weekends.
