Fee: $175 incl gst per person
The workshop is vital preparation for the Barista Championship. It will assist both baristas & judges. You will learn more in this one day workshop than you ever could from working alone. It’s your opportunity to ask questions & clarify all those things you were wondering about.
The day includes:
Coffee knowledge written test
WBC rules & regulations, sensory & technical scoresheets written test
Coffee quality presentation & tasting presented by Stuart Hargie, NZ’s only certified Q grader, Stuart was on the sensory panel of both 2010 & 2011 World Barista Championship finals. He is NZ Cup Tasting Champion.
Technical presentation & practical run through. Wgtn – presented by David Green, WBC Certified technical judge, David judged at the semi-finals of the 2011 World Barista Championship. Chch & Akl presenters TBC.
Sensory presentation & practical run through presented by Jessica Godfrey, WBC Certified sensory judge, Jessica judged the final of the World Barista Championship 2010.
Morning tea & lunch, plus some exceptional coffees.
