Quaffing Syndicate – Auckland

The NZ Roaster Guild has created a Quaffing Syndicate is a new venture specifically by roasters, for roasters, or anyone wanting to develop skills in roasting.
Time: 7pm
Date: Thursday 19 July
Venue: Jacks Coffee, 32 Lunn Ave, Mt Wellington
Hosts: David Burton & Stuart Hargie

What is a Quaffing Syndicate?
We will gather in a roastery to cup some special coffees and quaff some beer over the cooling tray, while we check out the machinery and chat about all things roasting.
These events are a chance to treat a favourite coffee with some special roasting, and prepare some flavour notes and producer info. If you have visited origin this may be a fun chance to share some discoveries and experiences.
Entry by brew!
NZ Roaster Guild members please bring:
-100g + of an origin you have roasted for cupping
-a small flyer with flavour notes, roast notes and producer info you find interesting
-a couple of your favourite beers (it’s a quaffing syndicate after all!)
Non-members please add $20 (cash only) to the above

We hope this can build on NZ’s reputation for having great coffee, with a goal to be able to have strikingly well roasted coffee in all corners of our town and country.
Its in our hands!
Please send questions to roasterguild@nzsca.org
