The 2017 Recognition awards to be announced at the AGM

Last year we had our first NZSCA recognition awards, The NZSCA wanted to recognise and acknowledge the individuals within New Zealand that give back to the industry, without these individuals we would not be where we are today. You can read more about last years recipients Chris White, Rene Macaulay and Michael C Y Park here…
Our recognition awards celebrate and reward individuals who have made a significant contribution to our industry.
This year we have asked our members and coffee professionals to put forth the names of the individuals that they think have made this kind of contribution – it might have been through mentorship, innovation or volunteering time and skills.
Nominations closed on the 31st March.
The board has considered all nominations put forward, asked for more information where required and has made a decision on which awards and who they will recognise in 2017. This will be announced at the NZSCA AGM in Christchurch on Thursday 18 May.
There are three categories:
On-going contribution
Development, and
Friend of the Association

The three categories –
