Sarah founded beauty business Trilogy with her sister Catherine in 2002. They had a meager budget, few contacts and over 25 thousand brands globally to compete with. But they also had a strong belief in their key ingredient rose hip oil and that it provided a strong point of difference. Eight years later the sisters successfully sold the business for $20M.

Mark Keddell, CEO Pack & Company
Social architecture & social engineering – creating your own market
Mark is a founder and CEO of Pack & Company, a company that specialises in Restaurant, Bar and Cafe operations and describes themselves as social architects. Pack unashamedly aim to be the best company in their industry, which they measure by the strength, integrity and creativity of their ideas and execution of those ideas, and how well they are received by the market.
Pack & Company is based in Auckland, but operates bars and restaurants all around New Zealand and currently employs over 700 people across 20 bars, restaurants and cafes including the Matterhorn, The Imperial complex that connects Queen St and Fort Lane, Foxglove and Snapdragon.
Mark is an Olympic Games’ sprinter, boxing manager, entrepreneur, empire builder… yup and raconteur. His tongue is ¾ of a foot long. He can be hilarious as hell as well.

Stuart Hargie, Brew Master, Bell Tea & Coffee
Careers in coffee – carving out an exciting career in a crowded market
Stuart has been in the coffee industry for 15 years starting out in Australia as an account manager for Vittoria. He moved to London where he became a coffee buyer & taster for Masteroast UK. He is a certified Q Grader, Liffe Grader, World Barista/Brewer’s Cup/Coffee in Good Spirits Championship judge and SCAA Lead Instructor. Stuart has served on SCAE committees & also ran the Judges Certification Committee for the UKBC. He is the inaugural NZ Roaster Guild Chair. His recent trip to El Salvador is currently on national television.
